General Terms and Conditions of Use of the veronacosmetics.bg Website

These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Verona Cosmetics Ltd. (Верона Козметикс ООД), UIC 205516923, VAT No. BG205516923, with registered office and address of management at ул. Патриарх Евтимий 2, Kyustendil 2500, Bulgaria (hereinafter the "Seller" or "Verona Cosmetics"), and the consumers/customers (hereinafter the "Consumer" or "you") of the online store at https://www.veronacosmetics.bg (hereinafter the "Site").

2. Definitions

"Consumer" is any natural person who acquires goods or services outside the scope of their professional or commercial activity.
"Site" means the online store veronacosmetics.bg maintained by the Seller.
"Goods" means any product offered for sale through the Site — perfumes, cosmetics, makeup, gift sets, body and hair products.
"Order" is a statement by the Consumer of their wish to conclude a sales contract for specific Goods.
"Contract" is the distance sales contract concluded between the Seller and the Consumer.

3. Subject and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the use of the Site and the browsing, ordering and purchasing of Goods. By using the Site, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

4. Registration and User Account

The Site can be used both with and without creating a user account. Upon registration, the Consumer undertakes to:

Provide true and complete information;
Maintain the confidentiality of their password;
Notify the Seller immediately in the event of suspected unauthorized access to their account.

The Seller has the right to unilaterally discontinue the access of a Consumer who violates these terms or the applicable Bulgarian legislation.

5. Order and Conclusion of the Contract

The Contract between the Seller and the Consumer is deemed concluded at the moment the Consumer receives an order confirmation email. Until that moment, the Seller has the right to refuse to fulfill the order (for example, if the item goes out of stock or a technical error in the price is discovered).

Before completing the order, the Consumer has the right to review and change the contents of the cart. By clicking the button that completes the order, the Consumer makes a binding offer to purchase.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices shown on the Site are in euros (EUR), including VAT. Prices do not include delivery costs, which are calculated and displayed before the order is finalized.

The following payment methods are available:

Online payment by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay or Google Pay;
Cash on delivery — payment to the courier on delivery. The courier's collection fee is shown before the order is confirmed.

A fiscal receipt or an invoice is issued for every purchase in accordance with the requirements of Bulgarian legislation. If you need an invoice issued to a company, email the company details and your order number to info@veronacosmetics.bg.

7. Delivery

The delivery terms, prices, delivery times and courier companies are described in detail in the Delivery Terms, which form an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions.

8. Right of Withdrawal from the Contract

As a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason and without owing any compensation or penalty, under Art. 50 of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Under Art. 57 of the CPA, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons. Perfumes and cosmetics whose packaging has been opened or whose protective seal has been broken after delivery therefore cannot be returned. This does not affect your rights for defective or non-conforming goods under section 9.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us within that period by email at info@veronacosmetics.bg or by phone at +359 899 126 033, quoting your order number and the items you are returning. You may also use the standard withdrawal form.

Send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal, to: Verona Cosmetics, ул. Гороцветна 54, Kyustendil 2500, Bulgaria. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the Consumer.

The Seller refunds the payments received, including the original delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. Where the Consumer chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard one, the extra cost is not refunded. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or until the Consumer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment; for cash on delivery, by bank transfer to an account (IBAN) provided by the Consumer.

9. Non-Conformity and Complaints

The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods with the sales contract that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery, under the Bulgarian Act on the Supply of Digital Content and Digital Services and the Sale of Goods. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Consumer is entitled to have the goods brought into conformity with the contract or, where that is impossible or is not done within a reasonable time, to a proportionate reduction of the price or to terminate the contract.

Complaints can be made by email at info@veronacosmetics.bg or by phone at +359 899 126 033, quoting the order number and describing the problem, with photos where possible. If the goods are defective, damaged or different from what was ordered, the Seller covers the cost of return and re-delivery.

10. Personal Data

The Seller processes Consumers' personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

The Seller and the Consumer will try to settle any dispute between them by negotiation. The Consumer may file a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) or refer the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body for consumer disputes, such as the General Conciliation Commissions at the Commission for Consumer Protection. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is decided by the competent Bulgarian court.

12. Applicable Law and Changes

Matters not covered by these General Terms and Conditions are governed by Bulgarian law. The Seller may amend these terms; changes are published on the Site and do not affect orders placed before their publication.
